The Stabila LBM 2000 Closed Steel Tape is designed for durability, accuracy, and comfortable everyday use. It features a shatterproof PC/ABS housing with a shock-absorbent soft-grip cover, protecting the tape from hard impacts while ensuring it sits securely in the hand. The ergonomic design provides excellent handling, even during extended use.
The steel blade is finished with an extremely durable STABILA NYLON-WRAP coating, offering strong protection against corrosion and abrasion. For improved grip, the STABILA SPIKES coating reduces slipping on smooth surfaces and when measuring over longer distances. The fold-out SPIKES hook includes an integrated nail eyelet, along with a large, unbreakable plastic ring with a nail notch, providing versatile and secure fastening options when pulling the tape.
A clever plastic ring allows for easy length calculation: simply add 2cm between the zero point and the nail notch, or 5cm between the zero point and the start of the ring. The zero point is positioned at the beginning of the hinge fitting for accurate measurements.
